Meet the Pro Staff

Old Skool Tackle Company have selected these individuals to represent and protect the brand!  Not only are they accomplished anglers, they represent the values of our small family owned business.  We can't thank them enough for representing us in the professional manner that they do.  They are more than Pro-Staff to us, they are family and the best brand ambassadors any business could ever ask for.

Mark Lee Jr.

Hometown - Fort Meyers, FL
Hailing from Fort Meyers, FL Mark completed his first year with the Professional Redfish League in 2022, and finished just outside the top 10 almost making it to the final day of competition in the prestigious Redfish World Series.  Mark is instrumental in our research and development projects down south.

Drake Poiencot

Hometown - Theriot, Louisiana
Drake has been a friend of ours for years and our point of contact down in LA!  This year he has teamed up with fellow Pro-Staffer Mark Lee, to compete in both the FL and LA Professional Redfish series events to qualify for the Redfish World Series in 2023!

Capt. Steve Mason

Hometown - Princess Anne, MD
It feels like Captain Steve has been rocking with us since day one!  Not quite, but he was a very early supporter of what we are trying to build.  Its easy to say 99% of our R&D trips are spent with him out on the water.  As co-owner and Captain for Beach to Bay Guide Service, Steve specializes in light tackle charters in the Chesapeake region for his clients.  If it swims in the region, Steve knows how to catch them!  For more information on how to book a trip with Capt. Steve visit our recommended guide section.

Capt. Brandon Wingate

Hometown - Cambridge, MD
Capt. Brandon calls Cambridge, MD home.  As owner and Captain for Salt Tale Charters Brandon specializes in light tackle charters in the Chesapeake region for his clients.  From Speckled Trout to Reds, Brandon consistently finds way to get his clients on the bite.  For more information on how to book a trip with Capt. Brandon visit our recommended guide section.

Butch Huber

Hometown - Stevensville, MD
Butch calls Stevensville his home but spends large amounts of his time in Blackwater while guiding customers on kayak trips chasing Northern Snakeheads.  Butch is also an accomplished snakehead tournament angler and has a vast array of skills and knowledge concerning snakeheads.  Check out our guide section if you're interested in booking a trip with Butch!

Steven "Kambo" Kambouris

Hometown - Baltimore, MD
Kambo hails from the Charm City but we are pretty sure he spends more time in various other zip codes getting on fish!  An accomplished tournament angler and content creator, Kambo is a great ambassador for the fishing community!

Mike Savage

Hometown - Salisbury, MD
Hailing from Salisbury, MD Mike is a shallow water flounder expert.  Using unconventional tactics and willing to try new things, Mike is always challenging us to make new colorways.  You can thank Mike for a lot of the crazy colors we are coming out with in our 5' Grubs.  When it comes to chasing the flatties, Mike and his fishing partner Paul are always on the fish!
